Coburgh, July 25.  The 21st arrived here 600 Saltzburghers
from Culmbach, and were met and received without the stone
gate by the Protestant ministers and the illustrious
gymnasium, or Ducal school, in a body, and by the
superintendent General Meuschen, who welcom'd them by an
extempore discourse from Psal. xxiv, ver. 7 and 8.  The next
day two sermons were preached to them in the church of St.
Maurice, to comfort them in their necessities, and Te Deum
was sung with the sound of trumpets, kettle-drums, &c.  This
afternoon the Duke Brans Josias, with this consort and three
Princesses of Schwartenberg, went to the house of the
Superintendent General, where many of the Saltzburghers were
assembled, in order to be examined and catechised. . .[19

made to them from Jer. xxxi. ver. 2. which concluded with
these words:
  So zieht dann hin auf Gottes wegen,
  Zieht ins gelobte Preussen land:
  Der Hochiste Kron euch stets mit segen
  Und fuhr euch hin durch seine hand,
